1. YOU WANT MORE QUALIFIED PROSPECTS ARRIVING, NOT JUST MORE VISTORS
The only kind of visitor you want to invest time, money and skills in bringing to your website are ones that are looking for what you are offering. Make sense?
How do you do this?
Two main things -
- Find out where they are and get their attention. Visit the forums, blogs and chatrooms where they like to go and use strategies to get their attention so that they will come and check out your site.
- Using tracking software (Google Analytics is Free and Excellent) and activate the FUNNEL CONVERSION RATE tool.
This software will track exactly what each of these visitors does after they arrive at your website. There is even software you can install to engage them in conversation! I will cover that in a later episode of the Ahead of the Curve Series.
Your software will track which key words brought each visitor to your site and so you will be able to work out which Keywords are high converting Keywords and which are not. Pretty useful to know! Now you know what Keywords to spend your money on, and what Keywords to axe and stop wasting money on.
Without the means to effectively track high converting keywords you have no way to work out what is working and what is not working. As an astute businessperson you absolutely need to know this. Agree?
So next thing you need in your toolbox is a great KeyWord(KW) tool to go to work for you to find out the best KWs for what you are marketing.

You cannot expect great online results if you are not making effective use of these sort of tools these days. Every astute Internet Marketer makes use of them. It makes life easier and helps achieve quicker and better results.
Mind you, I am not saying you have to do this all yourself. Heavens no. Delegate it to the right member of your team. What Team? You don’t have a team? You need a team. If you work alone you need to make use of out-tasking and out-sourcing using places like ODesk and Guru.com. If you don’t know about these places to go and source your team of skilled workers at market rates of $5 to $15 an hour, then go check it out and stay tuned to a future episode of the Ahead of the Curve Series that will reveal all the secrets of outsourcing and out-tasking.
